GOVERNMENT FUNDED HOME CARE SUPPORT PACKAGES
Home Care Packages (HCP)
… are for those who the My Aged Care Assessor determines to need a higher level of care to remain independent at home. A Centrelink Income Tested Fee form (part pensioners and self-funded retirees) to assess income to determine your contribution to your home care package. You will need to provide Centrelink with an Income Assessment Form outlining your financial details and they will then assess and advise you on the contribution you need to make. We are required to collect this Income Tested Fee.
Full-aged pensioners are rarely required to make any Income Tested Fee contribution.
There are four levels of care under the Home Care Packages, and a maximum subsidy is available on each.

Care Management Fee
- Charged against the home care package.
- Coordination of assessments, care planning, reviews, referrals, scheduling and 24hr point of contact.
Income Tested Fee (ITF)
- Assessed by Centrelink for part and self-funded pensioners. This is to be paid by the client when an invoice is issued.
Funded Packages Ts & Cs

- Spring Clean – Arranged by Infinity Home Care at reviews to determine the tasks required.
- Travel – incurs a fee of $1.20 per kilometre for all travel during service times
- Clients living 20km or more from the Infinity Home Care Office, travel time and kilometres for staff will be discussed at service commencement.
- To avoid being charged a cancellation fee we require 24 hours’ notice or more of a cancellation to an agreed service.
- Fees and charges – reviewed annually, we will provide four weeks’ notice of any changes to fees and charges. All of the above Infinity rates are GST free
